Leave in the morning and drive to Kargil by car and road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonmarg (2740 Mtrs).
After Sonmarg most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh).
Continue drive towards Drass (The second coldest inhibited place in the world) we stop here for tea and passport check.
Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which has got its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974.
If we have time then we can visit HARWAN Garden.

After morning breakfast in Kargil, drive towards Zanskar valley.
On the way see Panikar and Parkachan villages view of Nun & Kun peaks are seen.
After short drive, we stop at Rangdum Gompa and visit the Gompa Continue drive to Padam which is the Capital of Zanskar valley.
On the way cross Pensila pass (4401 Mtrs) and some ancient Buddhist villages.
After crossing Tungri bridge visit Sunni Gompa finally we reach Padam in the late afternoon. In route Lunch.

After early breakfast drive to Purne which will take 3 hours and from here we will start trek to Phuktal which will take 4 hours return.
In route Lunch. In the evening return back to Padum.

After early breakfast first we will see Karsha monastery and then continue drive to Lamayuru.
On the way we have to cross 2 passes and many Beautiful villages, it will took us nearly 8 to 9 Hours to reach Lamayuru.
LAMAYURU: The oldest and spectacularly Lamayuru monastery is about 125 kms west of Leh, founded in the 10th century.
In 11th century the Mahasiddha Naropa came to this place. Then Rinchen Zangpo translator came and built many temples and stupas and then teaching of the Kadampa school came to flourish.
The Yundrung Kabgyad festival is held on the 28th and 29th days of the 2nd Tibetan month.

After breakfast drive to Leh.
On the way visit Alchi and Likir Monastery.
ALCHI: Alchi Choskor is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground, around 69 Kms west of Leh. Largest and most famous temples built by the great translator Ringchem Zangpo. LIKIR: Located around 52 Kms from Leh, know as Klu-Kkhjil (water spirits) founded in the 14th century by Lama Dhwang Chosje a great champion of meditation. This monastery also belongs to Gaylukpa school. Every year from the 17th to 19th of the 12th month the Lekir festival is held.

After Morning breakfast.
Day excursion to the famous monasteries.
It is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery.
Continue drive to Hemis Monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region.
On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Lunch in Route.
